Job Purpose
To oversee and manage the organization’s accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective cash flow management, while providing strategic financial insights and leading a high-performing accounting team to support sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, control, and monitor all accounting and financial operations in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant laws.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Provide financial analysis on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage cash flow and plan capital utilization effectively to ensure organizational liquidity.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable and Payable (AR/AP) and verify the accuracy of all accounting documentation.
- Manage tax compliance and reporting for external agencies, such as the Revenue Department and Social Security Office.
- Coordinate with external auditors and relevant regulatory bodies to ensure smooth audit processes.
- Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations to ensure the company’s ongoing compliance.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts to provide a financial roadmap for the organization.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement cost-saving measures and improve overall financial processes.
- Lead and manage the accounting team, including recruitment, training, mentoring, and performance management.
- Standardize workflows to enhance the efficiency and professional growth of the finance department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification (CPA, CPD, TA) is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- At least 1 year of experience at a supervisory or management level.
- Excellent understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of Thai accounting systems (TFRS/IFRS) and Thai tax regulations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics Navision) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong leadership, team management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
