A journey connecting city, culture and nature in the heart of Bangkok
On Saturday, 29 August 2026, icebreaker Thailand invited the community to experience Bangkok from a different perspective through “icebreaker journey — Old Bangkok Discovery Walk” in the Phra Athit area — a journey exploring the connections between the city, culture and nature through one of the simplest forms of movement: walking.
At icebreaker, we believe that connecting with nature can begin anywhere — even in the heart of the city.
Born in New Zealand, icebreaker harnesses the natural performance of Merino Wool, a remarkable natural fibre known for its breathability, temperature regulation and moisture management, to create clothing designed for everyday life and movement.
This philosophy inspired icebreaker journey — Old Bangkok Discovery Walk, an experience that encouraged participants to step beyond the familiar and rediscover Bangkok from a different point of view.
Starting in the Phra Athit neighbourhood, the journey took participants through Bangkok’s historic quarter, passing temples, architecture, local communities and everyday street life that continues to thrive as the city evolves.
Along the way, participants discovered stories of people, culture and nature — and how these elements have remained connected, shaping and growing alongside one another in a distinctly Bangkok way.
The journey concluded with a Kokedama Workshop, inviting participants to reconnect with nature through a hands-on experience and create a small piece of greenery to take home and make part of their everyday lives.
For icebreaker, experiencing nature doesn’t always require travelling somewhere far away. Nature can be found within our cities, in the details around us, and in every movement we make.

เมื่อวันเสาร์ที่ 29 สิงหาคม 2026 icebreaker Thailand ชวนทุกคนออกมาเปิดมุมมองใหม่ของกรุงเทพฯ ผ่านกิจกรรม “icebreaker journey — Old Bangkok Discovery Walk” ณ ย่านท่าพระอาทิตย์ การเดินทางที่พาเราออกสำรวจเรื่องราวของเมือง วัฒนธรรม และธรรมชาติ ผ่านการเคลื่อนไหวที่เรียบง่ายที่สุดอย่าง “การเดิน”
ที่ icebreaker เราเชื่อว่าการเชื่อมโยงกับธรรมชาติสามารถเริ่มต้นได้จากทุกที่ แม้แต่ใจกลางเมือง
จากจุดเริ่มต้นของแบรนด์ในประเทศนิวซีแลนด์ icebreaker เลือกใช้ Merino Wool เส้นใยธรรมชาติที่โดดเด่นด้วยคุณสมบัติในการช่วยควบคุมอุณหภูมิ ระบายอากาศ และจัดการความชื้น เพื่อสร้างเสื้อผ้าที่พร้อมสำหรับทั้งการใช้ชีวิตและการเคลื่อนไหว

เส้นทางเริ่มต้นจากย่าน ท่าพระอาทิตย์ ก่อนพาเราเดินผ่านพื้นที่เมืองเก่าของกรุงเทพฯ ตั้งแต่วัดวาอาราม สถาปัตยกรรม ชุมชน ไปจนถึงวิถีชีวิตริมทางที่ยังคงดำเนินอยู่ท่ามกลางเมืองที่เปลี่ยนแปลง เพื่อค้นพบเรื่องราวของ ผู้คน วัฒนธรรม และธรรมชาติ ที่เชื่อมโยงและเติบโตไปด้วยกันในแบบของกรุงเทพฯ
หลังจากการเดินสำรวจเมือง กิจกรรมปิดท้ายด้วย Kokedama Workshop ศิลปะการจัดต้นไม้ที่ชวนทุกคนกลับมาใกล้ชิดและสัมผัสธรรมชาติด้วยตัวเอง พร้อมสร้างพื้นที่สีเขียวเล็ก ๆ ที่สามารถนำกลับไปเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของชีวิตประจำวัน
สำหรับ icebreaker การออกไปสัมผัสธรรมชาติไม่จำเป็นต้องหมายถึงการเดินทางออกไปยังสถานที่ที่ห่างไกลเสมอไป เพราะธรรมชาติยังสามารถพบได้ในเมือง ในสิ่งรอบตัว และในทุกการเคลื่อนไหวของเรา
