Purpose
The Product Merchandise Supervisor is responsible for overseeing product assortment, visual presentation, and stock management to maximize sales and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role ensures that footwear collections are well-curated, aligned with brand standards, and presented in a way that highlights key styles and trends. By analyzing sales performance, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating with both store operations and merchandising teams, the supervisor drives sell-through, minimizes stock issues, and supports overall business growth.
Responsibilities
- Assortment planning, selection, and allocation based on sales demands, analysis of consumer buying behavior, competitor movement, and predicting future trends.
- Preparing Sell-through reports by weekly and monthly.
- Preparing required product reports monthly such as Month of Supply by stores Report, Sell-through report, etc.
- Preparing product knowledge by collection to Vans teams and Sales staff.
- Monitor sell-through and control stock levels to ensure effective brand performance.
- Analyzing sales and product performance with regular reports to management.
- Conduct brand and seasonal product training for retail staff and wholesales partners.
- Working closely with VM team to ensure that merchandising and product display match the brand guidelines.
- Working coordinately with Sales team to gather customers’ data from Sales staff to allocate products properly to those stores.
- Working coordinately with Landlords on providing input master products data for Landlord’s systems.
- Tracking the delivery of stocks to ensure that products arrive on time and meet quality standards.
Requirements:
- Well-developed computer skills particularly in the use of MS Office (Excel), POS.
- Good trainer, able to facilitate at all levels.
- Comprehensive knowledge of business needs, financial reporting and productivity requirements.
- Having good command of data analytical skills with logical supporting
- Good in English skills: Speaking, Reading and Writing (Toeic scores 500++ would be preferred)
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experiences in buying apparel, footwear, or any related business.
